European Junior Super Series Event

DATE
7-9 October 2011.
The tournament will commence on Friday at 10.00 hrs.

CATEGORIES
Boys & Girls u19, u17, u15, u13 & u11 (u11 is not an ESF ranking category) – maximum 64 players in each category. The Nordic Junior Open is open to all players under the age of 11, 13,15,17,19 on the 5 September 2011, as appropriate.

PRIZES
There will be prize money awarded in the under 19 Boys/Girls categories. In all other categories, there will be gift prizes. Trophies will be awarded in all categories.

REFEREEING
All players will be expected to mark and referee matches

SCORING
PAR 11 scoring (to 2 clear points), best of five games, will be used.
All players will be guaranteed a minimum of three scheduled matches.

INSURANCE
Players enter and play in the tournament at their own risk. Neither the organisers nor the ESF accept any responsibility for injury arising from participating in the event. Players must arrange their own insurance. All players have to wear approved protective eye guards on court.

EYE GUARDS
Wearing of approved eye protection on court is mandatory for this event. Players will not be allowed to compete without approved eye protection. Check WSF website (www.worldsquash.org).

All entries will be acknowledged. Details of the centre, hotel and travel information will be sent to entrants or their association by e-mail.

WEB PUBLISHING
The Nordic Junior Open will be publishing draws, results, photos of players as well as live footage from matches, players and the venue. As this is part of the Nordic Junior Open tournament rules, the Swedish SRA will deem that players and their parents have accepted these regulations by entering the tournament.

DRAWS/SEEDINGS
The seeding and timings for the first match will be circulated to all players or their national/regional associations by e-mail. Times of first matches will be indicated for their players. The seeding will be carried out using the ESF Junior Rankings valid at the closing date and in accordance with the ESF Junior Circuit Guidelines.

ENTRY & PACKAGE FEE

Package A
Tournament package for players: €204,00 per person, including entry fee, 2 nights accommodation in double/triple rooms, breakfast, 5 meals at the Club, transportation between arrival/departure point and hotel. (The Fee includes the ESF levy of 3 Euros.)

Package B
Tournament package for players: €260,00 per person, including entry fee, 3 nights accommodation (Thurs, Fri & Sat) in double/triple rooms, breakfast, 5 meals at the Club, transportation between arrival/departure point and hotel. (The Fee includes the ESF levy of 3 Euros.) Extra charge for single room €33:- per night

Extra night: €54: - in double room, per person and night, €83: - single room persons per night

Entry fee without package is € 48: - (The Fee includes the ESF levy of 3 Euros)

The entry fee must be paid by bank transfer (net of bank charges) by the 5th September.

In the event of a withdrawal, fees will be reimbursed as follows: withdrawal between 23rd – 3rd October, 50% of fee less all bank charges; withdrawal after 3rd October, any reimbursement will be at the discretion of Malmo Squash Rackets Club.

TRANSPORT
Transportation will only be provided from Malmö Central Station, Malmo South Station/Svagertorp and Malmö, STURUP airport (arrival/departure point).

Participants will only be picked up if they notify the tournament organizers of their arrival times before Friday, 4th September. There will be a bus transfer service between the hotel and the Club.
